I WANT MY CHILD TO DO SPORTS!

I WANT MY CHILD TO DO SPORTS!

While it is stated by experts that children who are engaged in sports will have a better development process both physically and spiritually and will be healthy and self-confident individuals in the future, it is necessary to know the methods of bringing the child together with sports.

It is known by everyone that today's people have trouble moving. Especially children almost leave street games and spend time in front of the computer with individual and sedentary games. Unfortunately, the biggest danger that awaits children who stay at home is obesity and diabetes due to inactivity. Parents' responsibility is to encourage children to participate in sports and to raise generations engaged in sports. The most important address of an active and conscious life is of course doing sports.

We said that it is the responsibility of the parents for the child to enjoy sports, but what are these duties?

Be sure to choose the type of activity you plan to do with your child, rather than watching sports events or activities. Go to watch together by following the matches such as volleyball, tennis, basketball in the city you live in. Go to watch inter-school sports matches together, then chatting by commenting on the match will bring him closer to sports.

Make plans that require physical activity, such as hiking or picnicking on weekends when the weather is nice. Round out the day by playing lots of action games together to keep him entertained.

By choosing the topics of conversation with your child from sports, tell them in a fun language without getting bored with how beneficial it is for health. Do not forget that you will set the best example for this, and do sports according to yourself. It could be walking, cycling, or going swimming. You don't have to do any heavy sports. The important thing is that he sees you doing sports and that you are a role model.

You should discover which sports branch your child is more prone to and guide accordingly. Respecting him by not putting pressure on him and leaving the decision to him will bring him closer to the sport he is interested in.

In order for him to have a healthy and balanced emotional development, you should benefit from the benefits of sports.
