A HEALTHY SUGAR-FREE DESSERT FOR YOUR BABY: ORGANIC SUGAR-FREE BROWNIE BITES

By now, everyone knows the negative effects of sugar on our bodies and the damage it can cause over time. Although it's hard to give up sugar due to habits, we definitely don't want it to be part of our baby's nutrition plan.

To satisfy your baby’s sweet cravings and offer them enjoyable treats without introducing sugar, the search for healthy alternatives is endless. Unfortunately, almost all store-bought products contain at least a small amount of sugar. However, there are recipes that can be made completely sugar-free, easily prepared in your kitchen, and with ingredients that are simple to find.

Our recommended sugar-free dessert recipe for your baby is not just for little ones. If you’ve adopted a sugar-free lifestyle or are looking for healthier ways to enjoy sweet treats, this naturally sweetened dessert made with wholesome ingredients offers a delicious experience. You can even share it with your loved ones. Feel free to double the ingredients to make more brownie bites and bring a healthy twist to your evening desserts.

This sugar-free dessert contains no processed sugar and gets its sweetness from the natural sugars found in fruit. Since the recipe includes honey, we don’t recommend it for children under 18 months. As always, consult your child’s doctor if you're unsure whether they may be sensitive to any of the ingredients.

Preparation:

  1. In a food processor, combine the walnuts and dates. Process until broken down and the mixture starts to stick together.
  2. Add the avocado, honey, vanilla extract, and cocoa powder to the mixture. Continue processing until you get a smooth, sticky dough.
  3. Scoop out portions of the dough and roll them into bite-sized balls using your hands.
  4. On a flat plate, mix the shredded coconut and chopped hazelnuts. Place the cocoa sauce in a separate small bowl.
  5. Dip each brownie bite into the cocoa sauce, then roll it in the coconut and hazelnut mix.

You can substitute the hazelnuts with any other nut you prefer.
