CARROT PUREE RECIPE

CARROT PUREE RECIPE

After 6 months, babies begin to need complementary foods in addition to breast milk. At this stage, it is up to parents—especially mothers—to find baby food recipes that are both healthy and appealing to their little ones. In the early months, as babies' digestive systems are not yet fully developed, it can be challenging to introduce them to solid foods.

Pediatric experts recommend introducing the first solid foods after 6 months of age. This process is essential for helping babies learn how to chew and swallow. Babies who can sit up on their own, have started teething, and are able to grasp objects and bring them to their mouths are generally ready to start eating solids. We strongly recommend using organic ingredients for your newborns and young children.

You can easily feed your baby the carrot puree recipe provided below.

Age Range:
Suitable for babies 6 months and older

Preparation Time:
20 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 1 Carrot
  • 1 Potato
  • 1 Apple
  • 1 Teaspoon Olive Oil

Instructions:
Peel and chop the carrot, potato, and apple, then place them in a small pot. Add warm water until the ingredients are just covered. Add 1 teaspoon of olive oil.

Once it starts boiling, reduce the heat and simmer for 15–20 minutes until the vegetables are soft.

Blend the mixture until smooth. You can adjust the texture according to your baby’s age and preference. Babies between 6–9 months usually prefer a thinner, more liquid consistency, while babies older than 9 months can handle thicker, chunkier textures.

Any leftover puree can be stored in the fridge for up to one day, or frozen in ice cube trays for later use.
